Hi dmitch, Like Jkr says, it's probably dirt. Since it's on the top of her head as well as her neck, it looks like she poked her head into something.

12:40 pm - Trilling , then eagle flew off from above the nest

1:02 pm - Pa arrives with food, waterfowl I think, maybe a surf scooter, thanks Annie!, lots of calling by Pa

1:03 pm - Pa with food

1:06 pm - Ma joins Pa and takes food.Pa looks around

1:16 pm - Pa moves branches and Ma eats

1:34 pm Pa moves to Y branch, Ma continues to eat


1:37 pm -Pa flies off
