Beans, I think the stick you are pointing at is when they reinforced the nest last year. A tree climber went up to help support the bottom of the nest. Hope that helps. Jo

4:32p - Calls x2, trill.

4:38p - Dad comes in to the nest and works on the sticks.


4:38p - Mom flies in to help.


4:39p - Dad has something in white in his beak.

5:50p ~ moving a few sticks and calling out


5:55p ~ flew off trilling

4:39-:40p - Working together making a strong home.



4:41p - Mom moves to 3 and does a balancing act. She has a dirty spot on her head/neck area.

5:48pm One in to do a bit of nestorizing, doing alot of looking around and trilling...flew off at 5:54pm

5:51 pm - Pa working on the nest

4:42p - Mom flies out.


6:00p - All's quiet now at beautiful Boundary Bay.


6:07p - CU changed to ifr.
