]Hi, both eagles are back at 1:32 pm. Both were sitting on nest. One left. Lost the picture with both of them. Is it the female in the nest or is it the male. How do you tell the diffrence?

Not that I know a lot about these guys, but I believe this is mom. Dad was in the nest a few minutes ago, and the feather wasn't there, so I think it's his. When he left, mom came in, and I think it's her because she looks a lot bigger than dad that was there just before. I love that they're back! I missed them!

HI XtremeId'ing the two isn't always easy. Mom has a broader head and thicker beak. She is also larger than
Dad who has a much sleeker head. When you've watched them for awhile, you'll begin to see the differences in them.

The feather right to the bird is most likely to be a eagle feather. Compare it to the stick it is huge. There is a link of a bald eagle feather which looked excatly the same: http://www.sacredearth-sacredart.com/ha ... nd-02.html.
