Wow Doug that was a great read and look-see! I've been pretty busy and fell behind. I'm all caught up now and will wait with great anticipation for your area to have this years crop of sweet wee bobbles!

See you again soon and keep up the great work! Titter

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

I have been observing a nest in Seattle for a few years now. Here are a few pics from this spring.

wave Kay * Thanks for checking in on my thread. The nests are pretty quiet these days with incubation on-going in 2 of the 3 nests. I expect things will change in about 2 - 3 weeks when the little ones hatch.

wave Lori * Glad to see you here! I hope you enjoyed the photos of the immature Shrike. I saw an adult a few days ago, but it was too far away for good photos. Yes, the wee little ones should be along soon !!

Yesterday, I rode my bike up to the Lummi Flats area and I took my camera. It's always a trade-off for me to ride with a camera. Less uninterrupted riding, but it's nice to be prepared when opportunity knocks.
I cruised by the Nooksack Nest, but no eagles were seen. Here are a few photos of other birds that caught my attention.
