Thank You Bev. Nice to hear. I do love the pics that can be enlarged enough to see detail not visible from below the nest. Marg's perspective through the telescope from her home is so unique and ongoing without having to make a special trip out to check on our family. Clapping
On passing under the nest yesterday we saw a flyin by 1 adult with something in its talons. Cheers Not sure if nesting material or food, we were still in the car. Amazing how deep that nest must be as the adult all but disappeared. We didn't hang around because of the rain and frozen food in the car needing to find a freezer. :ds:

:hello: Just in from Remembrance Day services in Sechelt. On approaching the town 2 adults were seen sitting side by side in one of the 2 trees with deadened tops just before the billboards. Then a few minutes before the parade arrived, 2 youngsters soared right over the cenotaph relatively low, west to east. I felt it a very symbolic and meaningful flyby. Left thumb up On to the Stalashen nest on return home to find 1 adult in the nest tree. We still have to see both together, are relieved you have Marg, through your telescope. Because of the pouring rain as we left home we didn't take the camera. Sad Won't do that again! sigh sign

Glad you saw the eagles and it would have been special when the 2 did a fly by on Nov. 11, 2011.

We saw two separate mature eagles flying in our area yesterday and this morning at 7:35a.m. a local eagle flew over our house heading down to the Chapman Nest.

:hello: We went by the nest again today at 12:44 to find no sight nor sign of adults. We did see a juvie with lots of white flying low over Chapman Creek north of the bridge.
