Yay Bluster! It's great to have confirmation that the eaglet I saw fly over on Wed very likely was our Bluster. Such a big beautiful bird. On enlarging your pic we both feel an adult's head could be just above the nest, the adult either lying in the nest or on a lower branch behind the nest.

We saw the same thing when we were looking through the telescope and thought it was Ma or Pa but it wasn't - it may be something white in the nest, there was another area of white which was above on a branch but that was from poop shots. We'll check again.

This evening Hubbie and I took part in the Festival of the Rolling Arts from Sechelt through Halfmoon Bay here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. It was my first opportunity since discovering the Shoreline nest and Marg, the Seaview nest, to do a driveby in the car parade. Between waving to spirited spectators and with brutal lowering sun directly in our eyes, I did manage to spy 2 juvies in our Shoreline nest tree. I also found your nest Marg but no sign of eagle activity. On the return run, no sign of eagles in either tree, but an adult much closer to Sechelt, oceanside from the Shoreline nest. Perhaps the tree Sher saw a juvie and adult in recently? So we have both Shoreline juvies present and an adult in the area.

2:45pm - Went down to the Stalashen nest, no eagles seen then I walked down to the beach but couldn't
spot any there either.
When we drove by the new park at Davis Bay we saw a deer in there with people fairly close to it.
That was good you saw the eaglets at the Shoreline nest and a mature eagle nearby the other day Sandra,
I haven't been out that way for several days but hope to go there soon.

Good morning! 7:00 a.m. No eagles spotted.
8:15a.m. Mature on a branch.
Yesterday 5:45pm I saw what looked like Ma in the old nest tree perched in a lower branch
was still there at 6:10pm. when I looked.

Yesterday afternoon, around about 2:00 maybe we drove friends from Ont past the Seaview and Shorline nests. Going west I spied a juvie in a tree at the bottom of Norwest Bay Rd. No eagle activity was seen at Seaview again, so we stopped at Shoreline to see the juvie. We found the tree, could hear it "talking" right above us but could not see it. Some screeping a little further west was heard as well. On leaving we spied an adult sitting in the same tree I saw one in Fri evening, at the other end of the subdivision, looking out over the water. We did not go in to our Stalashen nest site. Maybe we should have since Ma is still around.

Hi Larry, that would be great if you and Dawn came up. I will pm you.
Don't know how long the eaglets will stay here though.
