I continued to hang around the nest site. A Juvenile flew over a couple of times but didn't land.
I wasn't fast enough to get a viewable image.
Then I noticed a Juvenile land in a tree about a kilometre from where I was on the other side of the highway.
Just as I went to grab that image I noticed an adult coming in to the same tree.
You can see the juvenile in the tree and, about the middle of the image to the right of the tree, you can see the adult coming in.

With both the adult and the juvenile in the tree, I saw another juvenile fly over the tree but it did not land.
Both the adult and the juvenile remained in the tree until I left, about 10 minutes later.

Since all the time I was there I saw no sign of any eagle in the nest area, and I saw at least 2 juveniles flying around the area,
I feel confident that both Ocean and Sunset are now leaving the nest at will.

nice photos Watcher and Stim, nice to see some with the adult and juvies so close to each other.
I love the names of Ocean and Sunset . The photos of the adult in the tree are awesome, great quality.

A new gentleman came along with his wee dog to tell me all 3 eagles are still there!! He commented on how loud Bluster is in the early mornings, obviously has not learned to hunt on her own yet. I assured him that won't happen for about 5 years. Then who should come flying over but our Bluster I assume! The gentleman was still talking as I tried to find Bluster in the lens and not be rude. I'm afraid my trying to not be rude prevented some decent pictures but I got 1 I can share. I even heard Bluster trill once. By the time the man walked on, Bluster was out of sight. He had circled overhead a couple of times. I would have stayed a short while, don't like to spend a lot of time invading the neighbourhood, but also had mother in law and groceries in the car. The man said Bluster is usually in the nest tree with parents in trees close by.
I looked back and Marg you are right, the last pic I got of Pa last summer was Aug 17. Last pic of Sunny was Aug 9, calling for her supper. This all happened today around 1:30.

Everyone who visits.
Looked at the Stalashen Nest through our telescope off and on today, when I was able to, and didn't see any eagles.
7:44pm looked and saw Bluster sitting on a branch.
Click 2X.

9:05pm Bluster is still on the branch.
