We still see one adult in the nest but cannot see if there are any eaglets we will have to wait until they get bigger, right now one in the nest one in the tree. I sometimes see an adult bending over feeding but as it is so far way cannot see if it is eating the food or feeding a little oneDon't Know.

Marg, I'm looking forward to the day you post sighting of an eaglet! Is there a big stick pointing up from the nest or might that be an eagle head when I drive by?
Kinnikinnick nest remained quiet yesterday but I saw 2 adults soaring around high over the field actoss the road from the nest. There could have been someone in the nest. Hard to see the goings on from the angles of viewing we have there. At least we know 2 adults are still in the area.
Still not using the new camera. I plan to sit down and befriend it today.

Went by the Stalashen Nest today and saw one arrive, see top of tree. Talked to a neighbour and she was saying that when the eaglets are there it gets very noisy!Laugh Unfortunately, we were so busy talking that I missed getting a shot of the eagle when it took off!Sad

Sandra, you can see the stick that sticks up Laugh here in the nest and if you look closely you will see the top of a white head low down in the nest!

What fantastic Photos, Marg!!
I had to look several times - and then realised you are right - there is an adult hiding in plain sight in the top of the tree!! Grin

Welcome back Marg! I was just going into my mailbox to send you a note asking if you're back and here was your posting! David and I were at the nest on Sun and saw the white head low in the nest. Other adult flew in to the tree while we were there. Finally took some pics but haven't even determined how to view them yet much less post. This is definitely a learning process.
We saw 2 adults and a juvie flying high over Porpoise Bay, but they disappeared by the time I got the camera ready. 1 adult flying over the field at Kinnikinnick but the camera was back in the trunk of the car when it appeared. LOL
David might have lost his glasses on the road near the Stalshen nest. I'll check tomorrow when we head to Sechelt.
I'll give you a call soon.

Wow, I just had an awesome showing of 6 turkey vultures circling and soaring right out our front window, over The Sound and our place. Saw juvies out there today as well. I'm thinking I'll have to keep the long lens on my camera all the time.

Took this one from a distance to show you the one in the nest. If you look above, slightly to the right, you will see where the other eagle is perched, you can see the tip of the tail.
