:hello: Good morning everyone,
I hope you are all having a great day, so far.

Not much new up here - but our weather is super. It is quite warm today and the bark on the trees is beginning to turn colour. The days are getting longer and longer and it is not dark so early in the morning nor in the evening, either. The seasons are changing.

Hubby is slowly getting better after his surgery. However, we think this is going to take awhile. Patience is definitely a virtue in this regard.

Well, I have to get cracking here. I am in charge of installing a plastic cover on the windows in the new house (to presever the wood before the fine powder from the gyprock taping job hits; so that the staining of the wood will be done properly.) It is also laundry day, and there seems to be plenty to wash this week.

Elaiine: I have not heard of a fox squirrel. What adorable pictures - they sure do seem to like the peanut feeder! What a novel idea. And, how entertaining... .

Gotta go here - hope all of you have a wonderful day.

Jan...those are both brand new smilies. I'm not sure of the reason for the cloud 9 one but the raccoon is because we have had a few nests with visiting raccoons!! Wooh

I'll go get a picture..........

Here it is--These two were in the Delta--O.W.L. nest last week.

:helloOh MyMG Mary, who would think a raccoon would hang out in an eagle nest? Yikes, those birds sure do have a lot to worry about.

Gotta go and make us some supper. C-ya!

Good Morning Everyone, :hello:

I didn't mean to stay away so long. These apples are still in demand and keeps us quite busy. I sure thought it would slow down after Christmas. And the weather this winter has us wondering about the upcoming apple crop. My gosh I seen little wildflowers in bloom. Our winter sure has been a strange one. Puzzled I'm sure the wild animals are confused also. Now they are predicting 7 inches of snow tomorrow. Chin

Oh I really like the little raccoonraccoonraccoon. It's been so mild this year they have been out at night eating my squirrel corn. I did manage to see the two little raccoons in the Delta owl nest.

Well I had better get some work done around here. Just wanted to pop in and say "HI".

:hello: Hi to all of you!

Elaine: I'm giggle to myself this morning when I saw all your Cloud 9. You are in a wickedly funny mood this morning! Rolling on floor laughing

Flowers blooming? What? are they nutz??? Faint Your winter is a lot like ours, but I think you are having much warmer temps. We had a mini blizzard yesterday afternoon - and did manage to get quite a bit of snow. But, that's ok as we sure do need some snow for the trees and plants. I'd much rather have the snow than too much rain.

We saw a t.v. news report on the Washington state area two nights ago. They are getting a lot of snow and then a lot of rain and the river was running fast and high and there were avalanches in the area too. I thought of Cindy - sure hope she is ok.

Does anyone know if the Sidney nest is up and running? I tried to find the webcam site the other day and could only see Delta. Maybe I need to clean my glasses?

When I grocery shopped yesterday, I picked up a bag of Spartan apples on 50% off. They looked pretty good and I think I'll make me a pie or a crisp - everyone likes one of those.

Gotta get going here. Hubby is still snoozing and I'm getting myself ready to go do laundry in town. Take care all of you and I sure hope you have a wonderful day.
