Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to say I have missed reading your posts - but have been thinking of all of you.
Cindy: I hope you are feeling ok and when is the baby boy supposed to arrive? Hi to Pete and BC and a pat on the head for us, please.
Elaine: How is Ginger? Is she on medications now? (And how are your other critters doing?)
Mary: Is springtime arriving in your area?
Diane: Do you have much snow?
Vicki: Porch in use yet?
Sandi: Hope you are doing ok.
Also, I wanted to let you know that my husband has had his surgery and is back home. He had the operation on Monday and I have pretty much been living at the hospital since then. He was allowed to come home this morning and is now sleeping like a babe. He is doing really, really well. Laproscopic surgery is much easier on the human body than thoses huge incisions, I can tell. In a couple of weeks we should know the results of the pathological tests and then we will know what will have to be done from there on.
Take care, all of you - have a great ay.

Jan~~~I just now realized I forgot to tell you about Ginger. My husband took her yesterday to the vets and he also said that it was common for older dogs to have seizures. If she has them more often they can put her on medication. She seems to be just fine. Of course she does have those lumps that dogs sometimes get, but it's nothing to worry about.

Resolve to be tender with the young;
Compassionate with the aged;Sympathetic with the striving;
And tolerant of the weak and wrong.
Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

Hi everyone!
Hope you are all having a pretty good day today.
Cindy: What a wonderful surprise to read of your new grandson's early, but safe, arrival! CONGRATULATIONS! to all of you. And WELCOME to wee Andrew to the world. I think he is going to have to hit the ground running in order to keep up with those two cutie cousins of his. He was a good size, wasn't he? And, I can well imagine how tired you must have been after his delivery. I hope they live close enough to your place that you will be able to share in his growing up.
My husband is doing really well. We have to have follow up visits with doctor etc. but are not sure when. Hubby called the doctor's office on Thursday, last - was told that his appointment information was mailed to us. She didn't tell him when the appointment actually is - so we are now waiting for the mail. (Strange, IMHO). The girl in the doctor's office is a little 'unusual' - and there is no point in arguing with her - she seems to 'know it all'.Oh well, hopefully we will get something in today's mail and will know what our next step is.
Also, Cindy - I was wondering- did you find someone to take over the school? I seem to recall that there was someone you were thinking of - and then I lost track.
Elaine: I hope you have a happy 'apple' day - and that you are doing ok.
Mary: We saw a picture on the t.v. of the mountains near El Paso, TX and there was fresh snow. It looked very pretty, but brrr - I suppose the desert area there can always use a little moisture.
Diane: I hope you are having a great day.
Vicki: Give Munch a pat on the head for us, okay?
Enjoy your day, each of you.

Jan...We lived in El Paso before we moved to San Antonio. In the winter of 1985 we had a 25 inch snowfall!! El Paso is actually in the high desert....up in the mountains. In fact the Rocky Mountains end in downtown El Paso and the city wraps around them. Because of the altitude they do get quite a bit of snow and it's not too far from ski resorts in New Mexico. I did see on the news that a lot of the Northern part of Texas got quite a bit of snow. We had a lot of rain here last night and this morning and it was in the upper 30's last night. If it had been a few segrees colder--we would have had snow too!!
Elaine...How is Ginger doing?
Cindy...So nice to hear about that new baby!! His cousins will give him the business I'll bet! Glad evrybody is fine. How are you feeling?
