Hi back at you, elaine! wave I haven't heard the terminology, 'bobblehead' for soooo long. Quite refreshing to say the least. Nodding

couldn't get anything from the link Mary sent - but that's ok.

Have a super day.

Jan...I'm so sorry you can't get that link to work. I just tried it here on the page 3 times and it took me right to the cam every time. It's a beautiful, clear cam! I invite any of you to click on forum index at the top of the page, scroll down to "eagle cams outside North America...and then click on "Estonia white-tailed eagle nest". We have posted some absolutely gorgeous pics of the eagler pair, Sulev and Linda.

Good Morning Everyone, wavewave

Well, it must be the weather here. I feel as I could just go back to bed, but think I'd better have another cup of Mug of coffee. Nice and warm here and I also heard a Robin this morning as I was walking in the door at work.

I didn't have a problem with Mary's link. Puzzled I hope you can get there Jan. A very pretty nest to look at. Nodding

I peeked in on Norfolk this morning. It looks like there getting some rain, but are managing to keep the baby and eggs dry.

Jan, I also like the term bobblehead. They are just too cute when they're tiny. love Reminds me of Wendy also. I've been thinking about her a lot lately. Especially those cucumber eyes of her's. I've been staring at these nests way too much.

Well, I've got some work to do around here. Wishing everyone a "Happy Friday". Nodding

hallooo everyone wave It's Friday and very sunny here this morning Cool

elaine - I tried Mary's link again this morning. Picture came up just fine and such clarity. Must have been busy the last time I tried. Anyway, no birdy in the nest - and it's a bit windy there. Spring is coming though, I can tell....

We are going to be very busy here today - so I probably won't get online for much time. Take care everyone and (yes) I think Wendy is smiling down on us in anticipation of the eagle season about to happen. Nodding

THE KERMODE BEAR

The Kermode Bear is sub-species of the Black Bear and is found only in the northern coastal area of B.C. This bear is very important in First Nations lore, and because of its white coloring is often referred to as the Spirit Bear.

HWF now has a live cam in the den of one of these bears, courtesy of a family living in Rosswood in northern B.C. This is the first time there has been an opportunity to learn first-hand the habits and cycle of this bear.

There is a discussion thread that may be found HERE with interesting links to articles featuring some history and news items regarding this bear species.

We also have a live cam which can be found HERE
