Jan~~~I'm so glad you liked the cake. Yep, I get your drift. Funny thing you should ask me if I read David's article. I just read that yesterday. How's you weather doing? We are getting some sunny days here and it's suppose to be in the 40's. Of course we still have snow on the ground that hasn't melted yet. This weather has me looking for the robins to come back.

Mary~~~Was just thinking about you this morning and was going to send out another call for you. I was beginning to worry. Sounds like you've been doing some important work for us. Those eagles are so very pretty. Awesome coloring of their feathers. Thank you so much for the heads up.

Starr~~~Thank you my friend for the heads up on an egg. Wouldn't you just know that I missed it. I think I was probably getting ready for bed when she laid it.

Oh boy, I can't wait for it to get light enough to see the cam this morning. Guess I'm going to do some work around here so I can watch later. This is sooooo exciting .

That does look a lot like cat nip. My cats just love it. It sure is nice to see Mom and Dad with an egg. It's just too bad that it was so dark when she laid it. I was getting those cucumber eyes like Wendy. :blink:

Went to the Estonia sight and have book marked it. My gosh Mary, I couldn't believe how many wild pigs I seen in the forest cam. At least I think they are wild. There had to have been 50+. And then I seen two pretty black and white birds at the eagle cam. There's one of those in a picture you posted. Have no Idea what kind of bird it is.

Well, it's almost time to quit work, so I want to wish everyone a happy week-end.

It ALWAYS amazes me just how gentle that big bird can be around her eggs/babies. Truly amazing.
