morning everyone wave

mary - sorry to hear about the pandas. I didn't realize that was done. I have seen the pics of the humans feeding the babies, but didn't realize the mom was not involved after the delivery. How sad. Don't blame you for the rant.

elaine: you have had an exciting bit of time. Glad to hear you got to go to the nursery for the info visit. When I have a few minutes I'll look at the links you sent.

Stay well - get over that miserable cold - and catch you guys later.

wave Hi Everyone....

Vicki....
I don't believe that I ever answered your question  about all the little tags that BobCat wears.... they are his identification tag, rabies tag and license tags. He has on last years as well, as all the 'tinkling' and 'noise' give Pete a much needed alert as to when BobCat is on the move...otherwise he can be 'ambushed'..... BobCat thinks he is a 'dog', Titterand likes to play like one.... He is a personable cat with family; hides in the closet when others are here as he was a feral that we saved, and is very wary of all strangers.....I enjoy all you photos of the Cayman's; must be a beautiful place to live indeed!!

Jan ~
Aren't you glad that you don't live where all that snow fell this weekend!Faint And more is headed their way! Did any of that storm system hit in your area? And poor Vancouver WA wishing it had fallen on them for the upcoming Olympics!! Sad The weather this winter has been terrible. I heard that Tennessee has more snow on the ground than the site for the snowboarding events in Vancouver....

Elaine ~
Love the photo's of the birds and the squirrels..... Squirrels are smart; why take the time to have to crack open a peanut when the corn is readily available...Roll eyes The bees at that 'hummy' feeder are SCARYHelp emo Pete would go nuts trying to catch them, and I'd win a new Olympic record running from them!! Oh My My hubby even wandered out here asking what all the humming and buzzing was about, and was amazed at the number of both bees and hummingbirds.....
Sorry to hear that you have that nasty cold thing. Sad We just got over it here; easily took two weeks to feel like we were finally getting to the end of it .... now our son and daughter-in-law are coming down with it....Sad It went through the school big time, which is surely where I picked it up....

Laci ~
I think that we are all ready for another eagle season. Glad to see you here in the Daily Beat Left thumb up

Mary ~
I don't blame you one bit for the panda rant ...that is just terrible news!! Mad

Not many new photos, but here are a couple I took yesterday of Pete....he is sporting his new Valentine bandanna giggle....the other is just of his sweet face....he has such expressive eyes....

Have a great Monday everyone!!
wave for now.....

Mornin' everyone!
Hope you are all going to have a lovely day.
Cindy, thanks for the pics of Pete Isn't he so intelligent looking??? I think he should work for the F.B.I. or somewhere similar. He just looks very knowledgeable....

also, nope, we didn't get anything much in the way of snow, over the weekend. It is actually quite pleasant here now. I would not want to be living near to the Olympic games area. Way too many folks travelling and the congestion in Vancouver is going to be awsome.

Hope you are feeling better, Cindy.

Hi to the rest of the group - I have to get with the program here, still in 'training' mode.

Good Morning Everyone, wavewave

Aw Cindy, I just can't get enough of those pictures of yours' . Wub I just have to agree with Mary and Jan. Pete is truly a handsome and intelligent looking doggy.

My gosh, out poor, poor eagles at Norfolk and Blackwater, :cry1: with all that snow. It really hurts to look at them. You just have to give them a whole lot of respect when you look at them trying to keep their eggs warm. I sure wish the weather was better for them.

I ended up being a couch potato again yesterday. Silly cold just wore on me, but I'm feeling much perkier today. We had quite a lot of snow here yesterday and schools around here are closed this morning. I guess I picked a good day to stay home. Whistling

Hope to catch everyone a little later. Have a great day. wave

Elaine - Join me I have been a couch potato also. This is a terrible cold - have been sick from Saturday. Saw the Dr. on Tuesd. and have bronchitis now also. yuck, I hate being sick.

Cindy -Pete looks awesome in the handsome scarf. He is surely ready for Valenties Day. Where is my sweetie BobCat. Nice to see animals tagged, the do dogs here but not the cats. Some of us do our own. I sure do miss having a cat. It is not a pleasant feeling.

Here is a little cheeful something to cheer everyone up.

Vicki, Elaine, and sometime Cindy,
Please, please stay well! THAT'S AN ORDER!!!
Man alive, being sick is no fun and we need you all to be well.
Thanks for the pics - that is some brave bird to make a nest in the lime tree. I did not realize lime trees were so thorny! I know grapefruit trees are - yikes!
Have a nice evening all - and get well, you guys.
