7:32pm 18 Feb 10 Mom can't chose what to eat and the chicks are in a conference run by the elders

7:46pm 18 Feb 10 Mom shreds the prey for the chicks

8:00pm 18 Feb 10 Mom has returned to feed her chicks some more but Dad followed right behind her. She didn't want him there so he left .

Good Morning. The Dellwo hummingbird cam is on air, but Sassy has been taken to a rehab facility. She was removed from the nest yesterday due to the fact that she is so far behind in development, and is not growing any feathers. They feel it is a nutritional deficiency as the small bugs disappeared during the storms, and she has not been getting any protein. this is a snap that was posted of her in the rehab center yesterday.




Apparently Phoebe is working on a different nest and Pungh (sp?) will move the camera once it is established which nest she will use.
