Hi eaglet....I was watching earlier too. The behavior of the parent on the nest (dad?) was a bit peculiar.
He was all puffed up (wings stretched slightly) and calling. Then changed positions a couple of times while the other parent looked on. Is this something you've seen before? I wonder if there was an intruder in the area?

Hi Maryann, I was kind of thinking there may have been an intruder also. When I came in (time I posted the first pic) they were both there and puffy and wings spread. I don't know how long they were there prior. Plus they were both there for a long time it seems?
