BET, Lady is a true survivor. That she came out of the coma is incredible. I am glad she has a healthy chick too!
Been out of town and just able to view again so thank you for the further information.

Checked on the princess to see how things were going - growing like a weed. She was having supper

Finished eating, Lady cleaned up the scraps and then it was Nap Time

I checked on Lady and her chick - 3 1/2 weeks old now and doing fine. I can't say the same for the weather. Everytime I have checked on Lady and family, it has been stormy. Grey - overcast windy day.
Chick is looking good. The two eggs are still in the nest area

i just posted info on the delta 2 forum about the osplet/juvie? from this nest becuz i did not know
that hancock had a forum space for this nest. so i was SO HAPPY to find this space to post
this latest update.
seems that lady's baby fledged on MONDAY morning, but has not been seen at the nest
since that time. there was great worry, and search parties have been looking for little BLUE 44/lewis
so far, with no luck.
but this little one has a tracking device and so far, it DOES appear that there is movement
which is a good sign, and he seems to be not far from the nest.
lady and laddie (daddy) have been on the nest on occasion, and just recently, a female intruder
landed on the nest, which caused a great stir, and laddie chased her off.
it was very controversial to the people who post on the LOL (loch of lowes) forum when this little
osprey was ringed and had a tracking device put on. (they did not like the tracker) but in this
case of worry, it seems that the tracker has been most useful, as the searchers could fine tune
their search and altho no sighting still of baby blue 44, it is hopeful news, that their beloved
osplet is still alive, as they found fresh eaten fish parts, seeming to indicate that the parents
know where he is and are feeding him.
the forum:

the blog:

the cam:

this amazing lady of the loch has been a privilege to watch, and i so hope her 49th fledgling makes
his way back to the nest, so laddie can care for him, when lady migrates to africa.
it is AMAZING to have her baby tracked, which should provide valuable info to where
these osprey go in africa, and perhaps coordinate the efforts of african osprey researchers
and scottish researchers.
for safe return to nest, little lewis/blue44.

The cam is up.
A quote from Loch Lowes blog on Monday 3/18
We’ve had our first Osprey visitor to the nest today, an unringed bird landed very briefly on the nest before flying off again. After reviewing the footage we think it was a male and suspect it was one of the Scandinavian birds heading further north but without a ring we can’t know for sure.
I captured this image of the nest in waiting today
