I have been trying to keep an eye on this for the last couple of days. As usual, my frustration with the time out gets the better of me. In the past three quarters of an hour, the eggs have been visible 3 times. Once, no zoom, second zoom - stream off - no view. Just now I did catch the zoom and two eggs visible. Both, in this view look intact.

Thanks, BET! It looks as if the third egg might be just barely visible in front of the one on the left in your first s'cap - but it is hard to tell.

Lady has been extremely restless the last 20/30 minutes. Doing a lot of body rocking on the eggs and standing and turning them. I captured an excellent image of the progress

And for review of Lady and her story (quote from Wildlife Trusts Website)
The Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Reserve has been home to breeding ospreys since 1969.

For 22 of those years (so far!) one remarkable female osprey has returned time and again to the astonishment of ornithologists and experts in conservation, as well as wildlife enthusiasts across the globe. Affectionately known by some as ‘Lady’ or ‘the Lady of the Loch’, this individual osprey is thought to be the oldest known breeding osprey in Britain.

But how remarkable can one old bird be? We say – let her statistics speak for themselves.

Species: Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)
Estimated age: 26 years (the average lifespan of an osprey is approximately 10-15 years)
Number of eggs laid in her lifetime: 64
Number of chicks fledged from her nest: 48
Estimated number of miles travelled in her lifetime: 129,000 miles (journey from West Africa to Perthshire is approx. 3,000 miles)

Our resident male Osprey is a new bird for 2012. Unfortunately he is not ringed so we don’t know his exact age or place of origin. He has replaced the previous male ( known as Green 7Y as this is his Darvic ring number) who nested here in 2010 and 2011. The current male is our females fourth breeding partner in 22 years.

BET, thanks for the note at Hellgate. This osprey's story is unbelievable. I can see why she is so special.
Thanks, I will be back!

(side note....the feathers on osprey and the fur on your dogs are very similar in spotting.......You can delete this comment that is way off topic)

Lady is working very very hard trying to help the egg hatch. She is moving rocking - standing up - turning eggs about every 30 seconds - or so it seems.

Egg Hatch

The shell has broken open

Mom tried three times to remove the large portion of the shell. This is the last try,.

She dropped it and it rolled back underneath her. Still can't see the O'let and Mom has settled down to incubate. I am sure Lady is exhausted. She worked so hard to help that egg open. Time for her to nap.

I thought I might have seen the chick, but it was so shaded it did not make a good screen cap.
