A flock of Trumpeter Swans flew by.


I continued my drive and this pair were perched beside the road.


A juvie perched in the school yard.

A sub-adult a little farther down the road.


My next stop was the Patterson nest. One adult in the nest tree and another across the road.

The one in the nest tree was perched directly over the road and never seems bothered by people walking by.


So many eagles here the last two times I visited but I only spotted one more today. The rest were at the eagle field which isn't far from this nest.


No eagles at the Panorama nest so I headed towards home. A couple more eagles seen.

The eagle field was almost empty when I drove past again, and most of the other eagles in the area were gone as well.
Nearing the Prest Rd. nest I could see one juvenile perched near their secondary nest, and one in their main nest.

There were several eagles in the field beside the nest property and these are most likely some that were in the eagle field earlier as it's just across the freeway from here.
These two went at it a couple of times with neither hurt from the encounters.
