Hello Scott, I finally caught up with you and your eagles. Your photos and narratives are wonderful. I have some favorites but I saw so many I can't tell you. You know how much I love the juvies so I loved seeing so many of them. I had a great time catching up with you!

Christian, I really enjoyed your wonderful photos also! You guys are so fortunate to be where you can see so many magnificent eagles and other wildlife.

woooohooooo Scott!! Cheers now I'm dialed in with the 'my friends place' comment seen elsewhere too Titter My fav is the very first sweet perched juvie looking down at you, what a cutiebeak! I loved seeing them all and their sweet faces.

Good to see some of the nests and it's always good seeing the adults staying vigalent (sp? doesn't look right). The one with beak straight up calling is great too! Thanks BF Wub

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings

Thank you Linda, Jean, Nanc, Sue, Tina, Naoma, Doreen, Rose, priscillsh, Annie, Lori, & Iona for the nice comments and for taking the time to drop in. Smile
I know the eagles usually see me long before I see them Naoma. Most just carry on with what they're doing but keep an eye on me, but some fly off immediately.
The one juvie I walked right under without seeing the first time must have had other people walk by as even when I noticed it later, it stayed put.

A very short drive today as I wanted to check on the Kitchen & Ballam nests. No eagles at either one and none seen today.
I didn't have time to check the areas where I've seen the eagles lately.
Lots of waterfowl on the slough today, but I only stopped for a pic of the heron.
