The adult that I had lost sight of flew by the perched eagle, did a little dive close to it, and then flew directly over me again.

I watched it fly off and land near the Kitchen Rd. nest, so headed over there.

It stayed there a few minutes, then moved to it's usual perch behind the nest.

Heading home I spotted this Heron in a regular spot.

The last bird I saw as I headed home was this Hawk.

A few blocks from home I found another Eagle's nest on Prest Rd. which I had never noticed before. I haven't seen any eagles perched in that tree but will watch a little more closely now. There is another nest close to this one and I have seen two adult eagles perched there before. Neither of these nests were used the past season.
My short drive turned out to be a little longer than planned, but I did get to see a lot of interesting action. Smile

Hey, Scoooooooot????

Take another look at the picture you labeled as a hawk having a meal....NOT a hawk! Roll eyes

You got yourself a peregrine falcon there!!! WOOOHOOOO! Wooh

I always "blow up" the pics to get a good look at the details - your pics are so clear...nice job! love

Great pics of your outing - loved them all!!! - and way to go on that falcon!!!! Left thumb up

Nodding I think that's worth at least 10,000 points! Nodding

Hi Muud guess what I lost a lot of my snaps and pictures taken of the Sidney nest in 2009. I'm especially looking for a picture of ma Sidney sitting on the three eggs of Breeze, Tug Hero and Tiny Tink when we had that freak snowstorm in April or May when ma was sitting on the eggs in the snow? Would you have a picture or snap?

ewwweeeee Scott! That second shot of the RT taking off is a keeper for me! man alive what a great shot! 6000 pts! I always, always love your eagle shots too but you know that and that wee busy squirrel is a cutie.

I'm with Kat (nice get Kat), that 'hawk' under the geese is a Peregrine Falcon and so is the first pic at Ferry Rd for sure! Awesome outing and shots again BF, thanks so much for sharing them with us Wub

I would rather spend my life close to the birds than wishing I had wings
