Cal, it won't be long and we will be watching an egg here. .....a week or so......will be nice and maybe raptor resource will increase our coverage to live instead of 3 min intervals. I sure am hoping.

With snow coming overnight I am glad they are not ready just yet.

I hear that, Donna! Their nest cup is prepared and deep so I'm wondering if they will wait many more days. So exciting (egg-citing).

I went to check the daily pics. There is a connection on that page to a very small live view of the nest. It is the side view. I could not find a way to make it bigger or take snaps from it. Perhaps it is a work in progress. http://birdcam.xcelenergy.com/eagle.html

I used your link to look at the live side view. Then I zoomed my screen to 200 per cent, did a print screen, pasted the clipboard image to PaintShopPro, saved to my desktop, then opened and cropped the image.

Add: You probably noticed that when you click on the arrow, then you get a view of Decorah. This might turn out to be a good thing when it's finished.

If you click on the live screen it will give you a zoom choice and go to full screen. Then I can use paint to do a control printscreen to get a pic.
Not as nice as the save image. It works and is what is on many of the screens.

It is 21 degrees here and snowing.

We were all enjoying the snowless weeks here but we are into winter here now and will have about 8 inches by evening. Then it will be into subzero temps overnight. The great news is that it is warming up into the mid 50's by the weekend.....and that is Colorado weather.......
