Ma was in the nest this evening for about 10 or 15 min.

Cam is down.

It is a snowy cold day at the FSV nest. The stills began at 10 a.m. and the eagles are not seen in any of them. Final accumulation will be 2 -4 inches. It is going to be very cold overnight with subzero temps in the teens. Tomorrow there will be some snow showers and low 20's.

I am glad to see them at the end of a very cold and snowy day.....not much accumulation but light snow all day.
Looks like snow sticking onto their backs.

BRRRRRRRRRRR! we are in the deep freeze....-12 overnight and up to -1 during the day.

It is partly cloudy. I see sunshine on the nest at 8:36. Hopefully the eagles are tucked in out of the wind. Snow has ended here. We will warm up to the 40's by Thursday.

I tuned in at 10:52, just after Cal, and only one eagle....I think Ma was in the nest. They had visited before that as there was new bedding covering the snow.

Then Ma was at 10, she moved to 3 and then exited the nest at 10:58. It warmed up to -2 so I bundled up no skin showing and got the paper.....as I came in my mittens stuck to the screen door....yikes that is cold. The sun is shining but it is COLD. A soup for lunch day.......
