Hey, Bev.....good to see you here. I would not have listed turtles as eagle food but they ate many of them last season, too.

I watched most of the afternoon but I did not see the eagles again. There is a snowstorm coming in tomorrow with a deep freeze too.....so things will be quite different at the nest for a few days before it warms up.

Oh my goodness that doesn't sound good at all you stay in and stay warm.
I sure hope our eagles find a nice warm place to hunker down in.

I intend to hibernate until it warms up. More time to watch the nest. The weather people might be wrong, but we need the moisture along the foothills. Was good to see Ma and Pa today. Love it.

The weather it is a changing........and this is only the beginning. It will also be below 0 tonight and very cold tomorrow. Here is a pic of snow on the nest by 8:40 a.m. mst

So good to see them in the nest. Ma is up close this time. They must not like that snow there and brought in more bedding to cover it up....
