Hi All!

I have also been coming in to see if you saw Dad. He probably is around, just not needing to be there all the time. I am glad Scout and Glory are doing so well!

Carolyn, I have not seen dad or mom today but there was a food drop at 7:45. Scout mantled it and then took it to 7. Glory did snatch several bites in the next 30 min. but not much. Scout got most of that meal. With the live cam down it is really hard to really tell what is happening. Glory finished what Scout left at 8:16 to 8:20.

Jannice is going to have a video later with footage of the parent visits yesterday. That may help to determine if only mom was at the nest.

for the live cam to begin operating again. It is the weekend and we may have to do with what is until Monday morning.

Glory is getting good at snatching food. I am waiting for him to get the food first and mantle and keep it. Scout is really a BIG girl and he seems quite a bit smaller. He is developing great wing strength in his wings as is easily seen in Jannice's videos. Won't be long and they will both be perched in the tree and then off into the blue, blue sky soaring so free.

Thanks for the update Donna. Dad could be anywhere, even around in another tree. If food is falling from the sky I guess all is well in the eaglet's worlds. Enjoyable to see, this is. Glad the cam is back up.

Carolyn and Jannice. Thank goodness the live cam is back up. I left a post at rrp hoping maybe someone would read it on the SV thread so maybe that helped or it just came back because.

11:14 Glory is still by himself in the nest. He is at 7 and then 8. It is a beautiful blue sky day and the haze is not as bad as yesterday so I am breathing better.

11:47 Scout is incoming

12:03 After doing wing stretches and big wings hops around the nest Scout exited from 5. She flew up over 7 and landed on a branch there.

I'm sorry you missed it Jannice. Did you see her lift off???? I did not get the scap.
