I really don't remember I think about3 days ago but with the way it has been freezing up and then I have been busy here that I haven't watch as much as I wish I could

I think we just need to watch a bit more since we have not been here consistently. Dad and mom do stay off the nest more at this stage and sometimes it is hard to tell who is who when they are in and out so fast. I was content when I saw both once a day. I will be watching the cam tonight to see if a parent arrives and I will watch in the morning....I will be away from 10 to 2 I have to get some things done.

I will persevere through the thumbnails now to see about food deliveries today.

I checked the thumbnails and did not find a parent visit at all today. The cam did not come on until after 8 so a parent may have been there before then. And the pic of Glory at 4:21 shows a crop with food so there is food on the nest. I also did not see a visit from a parent last night, but it may not have been caught on cam. So I will be watching the cam tonight and in the morning.

It seems every time I begin to wonder where they are they show up with lots of food and spend plenty of time on the nest. There was a long feeding from 8:00 to 8:40 pm on the 7th and Mom was on the nest with food on the 8th at 8:14 am.

Here is the scap with Glory and food in his crop. I think it is Glory as Scout has been resting a lot today after all that activity last night.

10 to 2 would be good for me to watch also before I go to work hopefully we'll see something

Thanks for your thoughts on this Jannice and most likely we will be rewarded with both of them on the nest soon. I will leave good notes for you from tonight and tomorrow morning. Then if we have not seen the parents or a food drop we might alert Amy about not seeing parents or food. You will have my notes from above to say when we last saw the parents and food brought into the nest. We know that the eaglets are ok for a day or two without food and it is cool weather so they will not overheat. that we will see parents soon.....

6:54 incoming from 5 with food. I think it is mom the eagle moves out of the way of the eaglets and exits from 3. Scout has mantled the food and then moves it to 11/12 and mantles it again. Then Scout eats as Glory moves to 2 and watches.



The above pic is the eaglets being right there as mom, I think, came in with food. Mom has already moved to 4 before exiting from 3.

6:54 Food arrives and Scout, I believe has the food.

7:03 to 7:36 Scout eats and Glory moves all around Scout and the food which looks to be a furry critter, maybe a prairie dog. Scout then grabs a bite after approaching with big wings stretched out. Glory retreats to 2 and eats.
glory does big wings hops about the nest trying to get closer to the food.

7:37 Glory again snatches a piece of food and eats it. It was a pretty good sized piece this time. Scout has been eating for over 40 minutes. Glory is going to have to learn to be grabbier. Maybe there will be some left when Scout is done.

7:44 whoo hooo Glory flies in and snatches part of the carcass and rushes to 2 with it. Glory eats his snatch.

7:47 Glory snatches a part of the carcass.

7:49 Glory moves in again and snatches more food.

7:51 Both eaglets are eating.

8:23 Both are settled at 5 and 4. They look ready for a good night of snoozin.
