waveFriends of these Eagles,
Fred and I stopped by this nest yesterday . We saw no sign of Ma or Pa and the twins were being a little shy.
As I arrived and set up I was quickly join by one of the teachers from a group of young school girls all waiting to go to playland.
Turns out they were from Sidney and new all about Ma and Pa Sidney’s history as well as some of the other nest in their area.Right thumb up
As they took over the camera, and asked if I could let Fred out so they could pet him while they waited their turn (who of course was more than willing)
These are some of the pic’s they took.

Hello Everyone,

Urban Eagle, isn't it wonderful that we can share an interest in Eagles with so many people. I especially love it when children like to take a look through the camera, or the binoculars, and when an eagle is peeking back at them. It's such a wonderful opportunity to spark the interest of future potential Eagle watchers!

This was the second stop on our Eagle Tour yesterday. We didn't see any sign of the babies, they must have been taking a nap.

One of the adults was sitting just up from the nest, keeping a watchful eye.

Hopefully we'll have better luck next weekend.

Hello Everyone,

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads and Grandads out there. I hope you all had a really great day!

This was the second stop on our rounds today. As we arrived one of the adults was in the tree, but before I could get a picture, she/he was gone. No sooner had he/she left, then the other adult arrived at the nest with food and along with the two youngsters had a snack.

After a few minutes of feasting, one of the youngsters became quite vocal.

A very short time passed and these two noticed that they were being watched and both appeared on the edge of the nest for a couple of pictures.

I can't get over how big these two have gotten in such a short period of time. But then I'll never get over how fast these bird grow. Time goes by so fast!
