Suter Wildlife Refuge, Corpus Christi, Texas, 3-10-12. Located about 10 miles north from Padre Island National Seashore (last posts), the refuge includes a boardwalk that crosses marshland to a covered viewing platform. This turned out to be an excellent spot since it was raining. The refuge is located on the western shore of Oso Bay and is considered a good area to view sea birds. Click to enlarge.
