Sandy Point, 1-10-11. Another snowy owl perched on roof on Salt Spring Drive. At least six other people were observing the owl at this time. Too many people and the bird spooked. Click to enlarge.

Ed, beautiful pics of the Snowies. I'm planning a visit to Boundary Bay and Reifel Bird Sanctuary next Friday and I'm hoping the Snowies will be there.

Hi Kay: I’ve read in the paper that there are 30 snowies at Boundary Bay. I think Doug had planned to go to BB yesterday. Suggest you PM him for more info. -- Ed

Ed & Kay * Great stuff, as usual! Thanks. It was good to see you at Sandy Point and Semiahmoo.
I did not go up to Boundary Bay yet, but I hear that 72nd st. is the spot to see the Snowy Owls ... 30 - 40 of them.
