Cute video from this morning just before I left for work. At first I thought the one upp was trying to play with one of the flatlets, but when i rewatched it, it almost looked like she was trying to feed it? Very cute either way!love

I thought y'all might like to see the Native Americans in Four River Drum doing a ceremony to honor Mom Norfolk. It made me teary all over again!! But proud, too that they thought she was special and honored her memory. I wish that I had been there!!

This was under the video:

Native American drum group, Four Rivers Drum, played ceremonial songs at Norfolk Botanical Garden in Norfolk, VA to honor a wild, female bald eagle who had taken up residence at the Garden, but was killed May 1st after being struck by an airplane.

Hundreds of eagle enthusiasts and fans of WVEC's 'Eagle Cam' came out to show their support and pay their respects to the beloved eagle.

Thank you so much Mary! I guess the eagle was truly flying "well" as they say, enough to leave. Wow! Can you imagine their reaction?

Also, thanks for the information on the eaglets - glad they are safe and secure and growing. You are the best to bring this information.
