14 C Clear skies with SW Wind at 22 km/hr
Suppose to dip down to -1 there tonight.

Mom I think is perched on the crossbar.

Looks like Mom is calling out...throws head back...
hard with no sound..but looks like she is calling out.

Still there...does a bit of preening.

Is facing us now.

Evening Sooner

Mom was perched on the crossbar for awhile tonight.....just before dark.

What spectacular pictures, Debs! I don't know that I've ever seen the lake so still. What a lovely golden brown color - and catching Mom(?) in flight - wow!

Hi Debs, Cal, Judy and anyone else I missed

I'm not able to follow the eagles this year (too many pandas, so little time ), but I just found out that Sutton is setting up cameras at the alternate nesting site that I told you about last Spring. It's in the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge.

Judy, FYI the last egg was laid on 01/03/2011. And I'll post here if I see anything new, too
