Nooksack River Trail * 6-23-10
This is a trail that I often ride, but today I walked. This trail does not have a formal name as far as I know. The parking lot is a Fish & Wildlife permit lot. The trail starts where Country Lane crosses the Nooksack River. The trail is on the east side of the river and goes about 3 miles up to Slater Road. If you cross Slater, the trail continues another 1.5 miles to Ferndale through Hovander Park.

Clover and vetch at the trail head.

This is a pair of Geese that were on the far side of the river. I guess these are some sort of domestic geese that escaped the farm ?
