Doug, I like your rationalization and it does make sense that the eagles wouldn't expend more energy than needed to fly into the wind to get home. Sometimes I think animals are smarter than we give them credit for and have more of what we would call common sense. If us humans would take a cue from them, the world might be a better place. :nod: I often think the old adage " That person doesn't have the sense God gave a goose" is more true than we'd like to believe.

I imagine Ma is thinking what a mess the winds are making of the nest and how much of Pa's work she's going to have to redo when they get back.

So...we wait for the grand entrance...and I bet they make it with a flourish, too! :lol:
