Bev So glad to hear that NCTC is still working on the new cam and that once the kinks are worked out they will be installing it.... for contacting our pal Paula and getting the scoop for us...u da best. Paula Bev and I are with envy that you recently visited the nest ...maybe one day yep yep yep!

Bev maybe Spring was in the area and Belle and Liberty were tellin her to stay away from their nest and Spring would be wondering hey it used to be my nest too....nothing like pondering hey or it could have been another intruder....too definitely something had Mom and Dad upset!

DEBS Did you see where MOm was on the nest early the other morning sleeping when i tuned it... i found that very strange.. i think she was there all night ...

Bev You are so welcome!! Now that would definitely be a great trip...and it would be awesome to go when Belle and Liberty have a family in the nest !

Bev I just saw that ...yep it seems a bit out of character for Mom to be in the nest..but we have seen that before too and perhaps she had just arrived just before you logged on too so hard to know for sure when she actually arrived into the nest. If you watch nests with IR occassionally you will see an adult in the nest outside of nesting season in the early morning hours when it is still dark. I have seem Mom and Dad PH too arrive at the nest just before darkness many times and often wondered why they would go to the nest just before dark so who really knows what they are doing...maybe bonding...not sure.

I read the other blog where she came at 1am... was wondering if they saw Spring around earlier ...

Bev it is interesting hey and maybe not so strange either since it does occur at other nests too....maybe Mom wanted to just hang out and rest in the nest as oppose to perching all night. I would think it would be a welcome change or perhaps it was a territorial decision to protect the nest.

Now it is time for me to say to Bev, Belle, Liberty, Spring sleep tight and see you all tomorrow
