So sad to read about Lil Joe but, that's nature isn't it? Life can be tough and over too soon sometimes! And all the best for K18!

I did enjoy the games, Bev and being out in the brisk air and even had some sun- exhilarating!

Mornin' all you Nesters

Another sunny day here And a balmy 5C. But, we'll take it.

But now - to bump start our day - it's Timmies time



Sun’s up in the swamp. And our rascally rooster Roadie - rubbing the sleep from his eyes - just crowed his morning COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOO. So now, the whole barnyard is awake. He’s early to bed every night – draggin’ his wee blankie – just so he can be up bright and early – and head off with the doggies on their sled.

And now, after donning his woolies – a quick Rooster hug, and off he goes, carrying his wee suitcase under his wing. Awwww – so cute he is.

So Wakey Wakey gang. Doggies all ready to be mushin’ ‘round the globe. Starting at the north pole, they’re headed for all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is always full of Timmies and tea to bump start our day. It’s pipin' hot for all – with lots of muffins, donuts and goodies - and plenty of Iced Capps too for the afternoon.

Sorry, I have been absentee. Tis that time of year! Yesterday I canned about five cases of hot sauce. Everyone loves it! Just very time consuming to make. My next and last recipe is Chicken Madras. I will make that today. Then nothing for ten months. Just kidding. Bev, I will send you the recipe for the casserole via e mail.

Very happy to see everyone coming back to the Nest. Debs, congratulations! Proud of you and Mr D for making such a great decision. !!! Yep! Yep! Number one Anchor! You have been missed. I am going to order the Eagle Lady’s book. Thank you for the info!

SJ is it cold there or is it good for going out walking? Hope you are out and about! Thank your for the Timmie’s run! So great to see you back on your perch.

Diana, my friend, how much longer do you have double over time? Miss you! How’s hubby doing now?

Good Sunday Nesters

It's a beautiful sunny day here I won't be able to take advantage of it to get out birding or hiking today Going out for Dim Sum lunch with family and then attending my annual council AGM for 2 1/2 hours It's always held on a Sunday and it's usually a nice day No doubt the strata fees will be increasing again

Debs, that's absolutely wonderful news that you are moving back home You stuck it out for quite awhile, but I'm sure you and hubby will be happy to be together again full time. Jude, I'm getting tired just reading about all the things you do It reminds me of all the berry picking, canning, freezing, baking & making jam I used to do when my boys were at home
