Good Friday Nesters
It is a dull, dreary fall day here; a good day to get caught up here and at home

Yesterday morning I went exploring and found a new pond and lots of trails to wander around. A fellow at King's Pond told me about it and I never knew it existed. I got lost wandering around the trails but a very nice couple walking their dog came to my rescue. It turns out he is a dedicated naturalist and strong supporter of conservation initiatives and is a volunteer with the Nature Trust of BC. We chatted about photos of birds, ducks, etc. and he asked me if I would be willing to submit some of my photos to him as they like to use them for educational purposes. So I will do that today

Diana, your morning greeting with the birds singing is lovely Thanks for sending the doggies & Roadie on their way with Timmies and goodies; sure needed my this morning to warm me up Hope your weather has improved

Judy/sj, hope you are feeling fine and having a good day I was annoyed to hear that you & Steve made the trip to the hospital only to be told they couldn't do your test that day Glad to hear you have sunshine today after a few blustery, rainy days

Vicki, your new place looks very homey, and Munch looks right at home I hope you have a wonderful visit with your granddaughter

Jude, I'm enjoying all the videos you send; keep them coming I am so outraged at what happened to all those beautiful animals in the states. How could that guy have been so selfish; he should have found new homes for them before he ended his own life I'll try to send some of our rain your way I hope the doc tells Dew to use sunscreen; it's not worth taking a chance on the possibility of getting skin cancer

ED, hope you are finding some time to get out and enjoy the sun, when it does shine Certainly not a nice day here today

Hey ED, the dish was made with cabbage. Dew loves it! LOL Tis hot today , so no cooking, guess what we are having?

Bev, the collage of the Delta nest is beautiful! I love many of the photos in black and white, Ansel Adams was such an artist. Just rented a CD about his life. He would stay out for hours and days to get the right mood and contrasts. I need to research what kind of camera and film he used. It was HUGE! His own dark room was unique in how he developed the pictures. Course, we don't do that today. No time.

SJ, great to see you back where you belong. I am loving it! Thanks you for the doggie run!

Diana, you are missed, hope you don’t have the work days you do all the way through the holidays, my friend. Thanks you for the second cup. Such great graphics we get every day

Sorry everyone, I was in a “tizzy” about our wildlife and what happened in the states! Most distraught and hope laws are passed on this over all the states, sooner rather than later

Oh yes, we got rain too Sassy until early afternoon then, only the odd sprinkle! It was good for walking but not raking leaves!

Hey Jude that cabbage dish sounds interesting but it doesn't always 'agree' with me!

Oh it's all right, Bev! Rain is common here on the other WET coast! A part of our life! I don't mind it at all. But, I hate strong winds. That's what causes most of the problems and damage! So far so good!

It's a balmy 9C here this morning - and the sun is shining brightly! Beautiful fall day.

Bev, love your Good Morning card. Sooo cute. :mrgreen:
Debs, we be missin' you. Fred and Barney need help makin' the donuts, doncha know.

But now - drum roll please - it's Timmies time


Sun’s up in the swamp. And our rascally rooster Roadie - rubbing the sleep from his eyes - just crowed his morning COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOO. So now, the whole barnyard is awake. He’s early to bed every night – draggin’ his wee blankie – just so he can be up bright and early – and head off with the doggies on their sled.

And now, after donning his woolies – a quick Rooster hug, and off he goes, carrying his wee suitcase under his wing. Awwww – so cute he is.

So Wakey Wakey gang. :cheerguy: Doggies all ready to be mushin’ ‘round the globe. Starting at the north pole, they’re headed for all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is always full of Timmies and tea to bump start our day. It’s pipin' hot for all – with lots of muffins, donuts and goodies - and plenty of Iced Capps too for the afternoon.
