Grizz, so happy you are back. I missed a very interesting topic on wildlife. Wish some one could have a thread regarding needless killing of wildlife! With over population, lack of food resources,trophy hunters, always taking the fittest, the healthiest of the species and so on perhaps a number of people coming together could make a difference.

Trying to get in touch with the lady taking care of the eagle shot with a gun in East Texas. Last I had talked to her she said the eagle would never fly again. Will let everyone know.

Good Friday morning Nesters Not that it matters to me which day of the week it is Sometimes I wake up and have to think about what day it is It started raining here about 1/2 hour ago but it looks like it might clear up. I was planning to do some birding today but will have to see how the weather is a bit later.

Bev: I posted on Screech Hollow that I'll be stopping in Halifax next spring, on May 4th from 9am to 5pm, on Holland America's ms Maasdam. Hope we can arrange to meet We'll be stopping in Bar Harbor, Maine on May 3rd and I'm hoping to arrange a visit with JudyB

Judy/sj: it's always a treat to read your cheery posts Thanks for sending the doggies on their way; I'm on my 2nd cup of Hope you are feeling better today

Bev, I absolutely adore knitting and crocheting - and am just getting back to it after a year and a half of no focus or no health. Right now have 3 sweaters on the go - have knit many over the years, but none for myself. So, hopefully at least one will be for me. Love to crochet, too.

Judy.. So do I... Wish we lived closer to one another.. we would have lots of fun knitting , crocheting , drinking coffee/ tea and shooting the breeze.... WOW!! I hope you manage to get a sweater for your self also.. although i never have.... love to see them when you are finished... right now i am working on a Nova Scotia Afghan.. but i had to stop for a while.. can't do as much as i use too.. but that is alright.. i can still do some.... love your cards you post.. the one today of the Rabbit is so special... remember when i first posted here... i thought you owned all the dogs... and you explained to me about them.. well in a way they are yours... you created the posting of them love seeing your post every morning...

Jude.. The threads are set up for the hummingbirds but they didn't return yet.. Phoebe the Orange County , Ca.Hummingbird will return mid October... the Victoria BC Hummingbird is usually a little later... will have to wait and see..

Kay.. I am so excited you are coming to Halifax... of course we will get together... would love to meet you.. will be in touch with you about your plans... love the cards you posted.

Ed... The people in Mahone Bay are great crafters and very artistic .. have a good day my friend......

Good afternoon Nesters, just a quick fly by I was out but Mr. SC reported he saw one immature, one sub adult and a mature eagle this morning - all at different times. So they are returning to our area.
