Mornin' all you Nesters

Mornin' Bev love your morning and nighttime greetings - and all those in between.

Debs - soooo great to see you back. We sure do miss you when you're not here. Hope you're feeling better. And yep - I am slowly improving day by day - and it feels so good after so long!

E/D - glad you made it back from your meetings. Missed your smiling face.

But now - drum roll please - it's Timmies time.



Sun's up in the swamp - and our rascally rooster Roadie - after rubbing the sleep from his eyes - has just crowed his morning COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOO. So now, the whole barnyard is awake – and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. And all thanks to our loveable rooster. He goes to bed at night with the birds – draggin’ his wee blankie – just so he can be up bright and early – and head off with the doggies on their sled.

And now, after putting on his woolies in preparation for the trip to visit all our Nesters – a quick peck on the cheek, and off he goes, carrying his wee suitcase under his wing. Awwww – what a cutie.

So Wakey Wakey gang. Doggies all ready to be mushin’ all ‘round the globe - and starting at the north pole - heading to all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is stock full of Timmies and treats for each and every one of us. So enjoy, my Nesters friends. Nothing quite like morning coffee and tea on the fly – to bump start our day. And as always - pipin' hot for all. Of course, we can’t forget the Ice Caps and all the goodies and treats. Oh no! We Nesters love our afternooners too.

Morning and Afternoon Nester Buds


SJ So great to see your post again this morning and thanks for getting the Doggies and our wuvable wascal Roadie on the road early this morning ; the timmies and treats are tasting especially fine yep yep yep. When the Doggies arrived here this morning ole roadie was being his wuvable self so cute; minding his own business (NOT) and then the three Hens appeared out of no where and Roadie responded to all the attention by hollering his head off then he began pacing back and forth ; his chest puffed up and sticking straight out ...he definitely meant to impress yep clearly Roadie was strutting his stuff to impress the ladies . Roadie became so distracted by the Hens that Roadie's dad had to come to the scene to get Roadie back on track ...as clearly his mind was elsewhere . But Roadie's Dad saved the day (the doggies thanked him plenty) and doncha know it ...after his chat with Dad Roadie was focused on his job again and before you know it the Doggies and Roadie were headed southbound again to deliver our second and more delicious treats ....now that is whale of a tale to enjoy with your morning and afternoon fix

Bev Glad you liked the captures of the northern lights ...it is one of our many treasures of living in the north . They are really active and visible in the fall and winter months.....and they are absolutely beautiful...I still meet people that have never seen the northern lights and they are always blown away by their beauty.... Every time I see them its like a magical story is being sung and shared with us I Thanks for your early morning greetings we wuv all your cards yep yep yep. So glad you are feeling better too

John Yep it does not pay to be away from the nest ...takes awhole lotta of typing to catch up Thanks my shoulder and neck seem to be improving slowly and hopefully soon both will be as good as new yep yep yep. Enjoy your day!

Good morning/afternoon Nesters

It's a very blustery Autumn day here; a good day to catch up on emails, forum news, genealogy projects, etc. Lots of small branches breaking off the big tree in front of my window and blowing across the driveway; I hope one doesn't come in the window

Nesters I've been away from my perch First I got problems with the Internet, then came my double shifted work All weekend work Plus my hubby is not feeling well again Now he has gout it's very painful and uncomfortable.
