Racoon sleeping in the EAgles nest at Delta Owl. REally hilarous. (3:30 B.C. time) but not funn as he may keep the Eagles from coming back there.

Yes Vicki, I saw that racoon napping in the Delta Owl nest. It may not return once it goes down to find food and water. Let's hope so anyway!

Nesting Happenings Left thumb up

Jan 29 2010
Here is a scap of the Racoon that was comfee in the bowl
at Delta yesterday. This is cute but bad news for Ma and Pa
Delta. Racoons love eggs in their diet so this is not good news
nope nope nope. It will be interesting to see if Ma or Pa return to this nest!
I guess time will tell!

Snow in the bowl.
Poor Ma the weather is suppose to improve!

Pelican Habor
Ma and Pa were very active in the nest this morning;
they spent nearly 2 hours moving furniture Titter
My fav time in this nest is just before daybreak
and at sunset Left thumb up
This is Ma in the nest!

Norfolk is in the midst of a winter storm!

More snowfall at Blackwater Cry
Ma is doing a fine job keeping the two eggs warm Left thumb up

Maine weather improved and quiet there today. No sign of
Ma or Pa.

On another interesting note; I wonder if Ma or Pa Delta were circling the nest
at Delta yesterday. I guess only Bev or Ralph at OWL would know that
and it will be interesting to see if there are any reports from them.
The absence of Ma and Pa Delta yesterday could be a sign that they will be using another
nest this season; which would be a good thing perhaps because of the
cute racoon that visited yesterday.

Anyway that is my nest report for today Grin

Now I must get ready for work Cry month end awaits me Titter

Hi Nesters!
Sheesh, another dull day here with some showers overnight.
Thanks Sj, for the Tims- pipin' and deeelish!
Hey Debs, like Ma said, the people over in Vanc. have had months of advance notice that road closures were going to happen. So, they can only blame themselves, I imagine! The security will be needed for all around the venues!
I sure hope that racoon is finished in that tree! Shh Puzzled Whistling
