Mornin' all you Nesters

Looks like it's shaping up to be a nice day here on the East Coast. Unbelievable weather for January - and we'll take it.

You up yet Debs? Time to make the donuts, doncha know. And we just couldn't get through the day without all your homemade yummies.

So now - it's Timmies time.

Sun's up in the swamp - and the rooster has gone back to - draggin his wee blankie . 'Tis a balmy 0 degrees here - and the sun's promising to shine today. Woo Hoo!

So Wakey Wakey gang. Doggies all ready to be mushin’ all ‘round the globe - and starting at the north pole - heading to all our favorite Nesters. Their sled is stock full of Timmies and treats for each and every one of us. So enjoy, my Nesters friends. Nothing quite like morning coffee and tea on the fly – to bump start our day. And as always - pipin' hot for all.

Goodness me, I've gone and slept in. Oh dear. I barely have a moment to drink me Timmies. Thank you for sending the doggies Judy and also for the lovely pictures. I love that baby duck...or is it a goose? Never mind, it's cute whatever it is.

I must away to the showers now and then off to work 'til Heaven knows when.

Morning Nesters

SJ Morning; the doggies were here bright and early doncha know and good thing I was so needing my this morning...tis Raven Day aka garbage day It is a balmy -29 here this morning and the doggies were wuving it yep yep yep. I wuv it when they mush around the neighbors yard and of course I say I cannot get the Maine cam for last two mornings I wonder if the wind storm you folks had knocked it out or something anyway I hope they can get it fixed asap. Maybe we could beam up Barney and Fred and they can getter done

Pye I wuv all the names and I am sure Diana will pick a great name for her new bundle of joy! We still have to pick our favs too and come up with some prizes but need to know the gender too as it will help picking the bestest of names doncha know When do the kids relocate:question:

JB I saw Ma and Pa at Maine Central this morning was nice to see them both! I see Victoria is promoting escape the hustle and bustle of the Olympics

Good (was going to say morning but realise that it is afternoon here) afternoon Nesters!

I am behind my time today. I dropped off Bruce at the studio then did some shopping, have come home
to do the dreaded payroll. I job I do not enjoy, Then I am off to the barn to see my girl and take her out for
a ride. This evening I have the little ones' music programme. So I have a full day ahead of me.

I hate to tell you this Debs but it is 4 degrees here today. Just lovely, with blue skies and bright sunlight;
it's a perfect winter day. I wish they were all like this, although I could do with a little more snow down to
cover the mud but I mustn't complain.

We had a lot of rain which melted the snow and consequently the rivers (the Shubenacadie and the Nine Mile)
have burst their banks and at the confluence it is very flooded. The eagles and opsprey like to stay in this area
and a couple of days ago I saw a bald eagle sitting in a very small tree looking down at the water, hoping to spy a
fish no doubt. There are several nests around of both osprey and eagle. The osprey is Nova Scotia's provincial
bird and we do have a lot here.

Must go......the paperwork is calling my name.

Oh yes Debs, the road closures are well and truly shutting down the Vancouver downtown area, apparently. On the news, cabbies are confused, people working get lost and they are angry and it seems to be a mess! Glad I'm nowhere near it! Thank you for the FE muffins and doughnuts, mmmmm good!
