Good morning Nesters! :hello: Thanks, Debs, for sending the doggies today - hit the spot for me. You've been busy making jam. Oooooh yes, we have raspberries in our garden too I just love them mmmmm. Soon our figs will be ripe we have 3 fig trees. Last year I got a recipe from the internet for fig jam - you put oranges in with them and it is deeeeelicious.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weather. We went to a birthday party in Vancouver yesterday and it was 29deg. fortunately, it was held in an old mansion in Shaughnessy which had a wrap around deck so we were in the shade.
Diana, I'm sure you enjoyed the wedding. It won't be long before you are here on the Sunshine Coast.

Hi Friends..Had a great day..We went to Shakespeare By the Sea today.. at Point Pleasant Park.. it was a company of very talented young local actors and designers that brought the park alive with the words of Shakespeare performing a musical comedy of Alice in Wonderful...it was incredible... the actors and costumes were spectacular..:wub
Yesterday i met Carolyn(Woodlands Bleu).. Her and her Hubby are visiting our beautiful Province... she is very friendly.. like we knew one another all our lives... had a great visit and we went to lunch at Murphy Wharf...
Judy sj... I think of you all the time.... sending you lots of love, good wishes and hugs...
Debs.. Thanks for the timmies... wonderful that you made so much jam.. we have high and low bush blue berries here on our property... we freeze a lot of them for use in the winter months... sorry you have a cold and didn't get to the NWT to visit your nests because of the high winds....
Kay.. Love the picture of the Brentwood Eagles.. will check the thread also..family is the best.. so happy to hear about you all spending time together... we didn't get the bad thunder storms here.. thanks for thinking of us.... give Diana and all big hugs from all of us here...

well.....i'm salivating down here.... fig preserves with ORANGE? sounds fabulous, and new combination of flavors for me.
fig loaf? is that a breakfast/ tea bread? dessert?
i watched a bear eat THE GREEN FIGS from my tree. and last year I guessed birds got them before I could. now I know better. I can tell you it was a test of my resolve to garden for wildlife---- as I watched wildlife eating. ;-)
