Good morning Nesters! :hello: Thanks, Debs, for sending the doggies today - hit the spot for me. You've been busy making jam. Clapping Oooooh yes, we have raspberries in our garden too I just love them mmmmm. Soon our figs will be ripe we have 3 fig trees. Last year I got a recipe from the internet for fig jam - you put oranges in with them and it is deeeeelicious.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather. We went to a birthday party in Vancouver yesterday and it was 29deg. fortunately, it was held in an old mansion in Shaughnessy which had a wrap around deck so we were in the shade.

Diana, I'm sure you enjoyed the wedding. It won't be long before you are here on the Sunshine Coast.Cheers

well.....i'm salivating down here.... fig preserves with ORANGE? sounds fabulous, and new combination of flavors for me.

fig loaf? is that a breakfast/ tea bread? dessert?

i watched a bear eat THE GREEN FIGS from my tree. and last year I guessed birds got them before I could. now I know better. I can tell you it was a test of my resolve to garden for wildlife---- as I watched wildlife eating. ;-)

Hi Bev! Hope you are enjoying the summer!

I feel I must clear a wee item up: I freeze whole raspberries on a cookie sheet or pizza pan and then when hard like marbles, scoop them into freezer bags! No jam, just berries! Titter

Now, NNSTDLBBBYA!!! Cool Cloud 9 hug Nodding Left thumb up Whistling sleepy Good night
