Marg... Gorgeous sunset last night...

John...YAY!!! you got to see two eaglets at the swimming pool nest... doing wingies too...

Bev... You must really be enjoying those MAJESTIC Ships...

jwnix...The article certainly didn't elaborate... but I would imagine that if it could have been put back in the nest, it would have. As Debs mentioned, the rehab facility was quite a distance away that they had to fly the bird. Blanket handy in eagle country....LOL

Debs...I was so happy to read that the family really did all they could to help this precious eaglet...and this little one will be well cared for until it is time for it to soar free. You just cracked me up with the "Northwest Territories 911 number....LOL
Oh.... magnificent sunset at WR with one of the fledglings in view... SWEET (as my son would say).

Tomorrow night I will be watching Adam Lambert LIVE at this time.... WooHoo.

Nighty Night Nesters....

Freedom and Jeff
Freedom and I have been together 11 years this summer. She came in as a baby in 1998 with two broken wings. Her left wing doesn't open all the way even after surgery, it was broken in 4 places. She's my baby.

Hi NestersHello

I'm back already.(Don't fall over from shockRolling on floor laughing)

I just had to come and share a couple of pictures with you. Remember that raccoon picture I showed you a while back? Well, I had heard from the neighbour that they were living under a shed at the end of our block and that there were 4 babies.Oh My I was hoping that they'd eventually come around when the babies were older.

Sure enough! The other day I heard the crows making a huge fuss and the noise was getting closer. I grabbed my camera in anticipation and positioned myself on our upper patio facing the backyard. There was no way I was getting close. Titter Finally, there came mom(or dad), being very cautious, leading the 4 of them on a tour.

She led them across the yard to a water dish that I have on the ground for squirrels, birds, etc. It was hilarious to see them all try to climb in while mom stood guard.Laugh Then she continued her tour across our small patch of grass and made her way through to the next yard. It sure made my day!
