Hi Nesters...

Debs...Glad to read that your brother is seeing some improvement from this new chemo treatment. I can't believe as I continue to read your reports on the fires. I sure hope things clear up ASAP so you won't have to were breathers...and so Glad that the eagle family is not at risk... PHEW!!! Nice cabin in Jasper...looks so rustic and cozy. Thank you for sharing all the great pictures from your trip.. love the one of PP and Grandpa... and Kewl shadded Nixen and Kingston. Too cute. Beautiful Bride Kristen. That is a Moose, right? Or maybe an Elk? Alexander Falls... magnificent.
YAY for the smoke being better this morning... Be safe on your travel north today.

Bev...I love the scaps of Phoebe and her cutie pies... Flash and Opal. How much does a hummer weigh? Sweet pic of the ducks and trailing Phlox... Very pretty
SJ...Hugs and hoping you're heart is healing.

Ma...Have you recovered fully from your birthday celebration? LOL

Carolyn... Hi

John...Hope the air quality improves for you... I live in the desert and it gets very hot here, but the heat is so tolerable because the humidity is usually about 15%... VERY dry.

Kay... WOW.... gorgeous pic of Henry the Heron...and the adorable fledgling.

Jwnix... Hi...

JudyB... nice to see you make a visit here.

Lonette... Hi... you are too funny with the Judy, Judy, Judy.... LOL... Glad you are better and clear to travel... Smile

The Morning Dove's last update. After the adorable little fledglings left the nest, mom laid two eggs. Within a week, she went missing from the nest. Both parent's have not been seen at all. I looked in the nest and one egg had been knocked out of the nest, laying right next to it along the fence ledge. The other egg was on the ground with several puncture holes in it.
I am wondering if a cat disturbed the nest, as it was on a fence. The nest is still there... but no momma or poppa around. Sad

Hubby and I are going to see Adam Lambert in Palm Springs this weekend. Up close and personal... it is a small venue too. That is just a little pre-trip fun... as we will be heading to a cottage on Lake Tahoe soon.

Lot's of action still happening at the WE nest and a bit at PH as well.

Here are a few scaps from the WE Nest...

There is another female K27... She is mighty fierce.

Hope you all have a great day...

Debs have a good trip and good luck my friend... hope the eagle nest is safe and you see the juvies..thank for the timmies and the pictures..so sad to see so much smoke and damage... stay safe hug

Ed..Enjoy your walk.

Judy L... Happy to see you on your perch...thanks for the pictures of the WE nest.. enjoy Adam Lambert.. he is quite the entertainer...sorry to hear about the Dove's nest...Have lots of rest and relaxation at Lake Tahoe..

The average hummingbird weighs between 2 and 20 grams.. a penny weighs 2.5 grams..their babies are smaller... they are the tiniest birds in the world.. their nest is about the size of a half of walnut shell..i could go on all day about hummers... they are amazing and smart... they can actually remember every flower they have been too and how long it will take for the flower to refill .. they have little or no sense of smell.. i better stop LOL....just one other thing..a hummingbirds brain is 4.2% of it body weight...the largest portion in the bird kingdom ..Imagine! 30% of a hummingbirds weight consists of flight muscles.. are you sorry you asked me about hummers Judy L..LOL

Have a great day Nesters...hug

HUgs Bev...
