Gee, where does the time go I was going to write a post earlier with Marilyn's birthday wishes and the phone rang. I never did get back here until now We went out for our usual Fri. morning brekkie then hubby had to go out to daughter's house to top up the pond and water the plants while they are away. I started doing and while he was gone and never did get out again to visit eagle nests and wildlife areas

Judy/sj what a most pleasant surprise to see you here on your perch this morning with special birthday greetings for Marilyn So glad to hear you are getting some of your strength back. We all share your grief at the loss of your dear Steve and know over time the pain and heartache will ease a bit. You will always have your cherished memories of him in your heart

Bev I was watching Phoebe feeding Flash & Opal awhile ago and snapped this s'cap at 7:30pm. The chicks are getting so big they are having a hard time moving around in the nest


Diana I love you birthday card for Ma. It brings back a lot of wonderful memories of Big, Lil & Skye in the beautiful Garry oak tree

Debs I'll bet you are glad to be home so you can have a good rest It's always fun to spend time with young grandchildren but I find at my age spending a few hours with my 4 yr old grandson wears me out

John I hope you will be able to visit the special eagle nest and take some photos

Lonette how are your cousin and your friend doing with their recovery/rehab and how did your tests go? Sure hope everything is OK with you

I just wanted to let you know that our birthday gal Marilyn is being pampered on a weekend getaway with her amazing hubby so we will likely not hear from her till late Sunday .... but I bet she is missing us though NOT

Also, I forgot to mention that Linux the juvie from the Delta 2 nest has been returned to the tree tonight....after spending a wee bit of time at OWL. So he is in the nest tree but he has not yet made his way back up to the nest yet....talons crossed that we wake up tomorrow to find Linux in the nest cheepin for his breakfast

Kay you are soooo right....I came home a happy camper but an exhausted camper too

Morning Nesters It's been a while since I visited the nest So much going on here, very busy at work and home.
We are is terrible heat yesterday we broke the record with 36.8c it was unbearable. Today is much better but thunderstorm is fast approaching
After long and hard considerations I decided to go to Settle for my cousin's son's wedding. Part of the ticket was a gift for my 60th birthday.
I'll fly from here on Aug 2th, wedding is on the 4th. I guess we will go to White Rock fallowing day. I really like to see some of the eagle friends while I am there.
