Hi All -

Sorry to be a "drop-inner" lately.

But, I need to drop in and request prayers and candles, for my cousin, John. He is in the hospital in Dallas, TX, experiencing strokes - getting more severe each day. I talked to his wife, Marlene, this morning, and being the family we are, I asked if she had slapped him silly yet and told him to stop it. She said she had thought about it but thought the doctors might frown upon it. So, instead, we are hoping and praying that the doctors can stop these strokes soon. He relapsed early this morning. He is undergoing many tests including EEGs and CAT scans and now they are looking to see if his heart is sending blood clots to the brain. Gee whiz.

Anyway, if you could send positive thoughts or prayers for John, Marlene, his sister Kris and her husband Tom and their son and daughter Aaron and Amber, and to his brother Jeff and his wife and son, Cathy and Adam, I'd sure appreciate it. And, maybe my Mom too - she is taking this pretty hard. Johnny is her oldest nephew and she lost her sister (Johnny's Mom) in the mid 80s.

I just a teensy weensy bit scared to death.

Kay Thanks for sharing more beautiful pictures from your amazing trip...those flowers are spectular Wonderful if they would survive NP conditions.....NOT I took over 1000 pictures all ready and had a blast doing it....yeppers Mom and Dad were both at the nest....will share some pictures soon. JudyL Thanks for sharing the banding information here; what a banding session it was.....two escapeess but both safely returned to the nest The carrot cake turned out awesome....Presley Pants had a blast helping her MeeMaw in the kitchen ...she actually said to me "Grandma I want to be old" and when I asked her why...."So I can be a Grandma just like you" now how sweet is that . I had a blast with my grandkids ....they are the best sunshine of all and I cannot wait to see them again Love the Dove captures....they are so beautiful and fledged already too...wowsers

Update on SJ Judy

SJ Judy continues to feel improvement and has even been out with Shelley doing some errands and enjoying some special feel good treats and time with her beautiful daughter

Judy says Shelley & Jim have made her feel right at home in her new nest sounds like our dear Judy is on the receiving end of some mighty fine pampering too

Judy sends her love and thanks you all from the bottom of her heart for your friendship, thoughts and prayers and most of all your love and support ...she says u da best and we both agree that ....

Update on Jude

Jude and the Dew will soon be fledging again and she asked me to let you all know that they have a busy schedule ahead so she will not be able to post too much. Their very first stop will be Virginia where they will have eye surgey (yep again ) to remove "floaters" Hopefully this time the surgery works

Then they have plans to visit Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire and BC as well ..... so they are on the road with Willie again for a few weeks

Jude & the Dew we wish you great success in VA along with a safe journey on all of your trips ...hoping you both build in some fun adventures along the way ~~have a great time and we wish you both fair weather and safe and memorable travels ... now sending you both some super sized hugaroos from your family here

Jude....but be forewarned ....you best be armed with a very good camera .....as we will want to see a photo diary from all of your travels
