Thanks for the s'caps of the RTs Bev! They are sure growing and look close to fledging size! Esp. the older one.

Yes, Kay I read about the platform and I also read that the eagles may have nested in another tree. But that area is all private property and I don't know the people at all, if I have the correct area.

Oh good Lonette, you survived! I'm glad! :thumrht: Grin

Well thanks JudyL. a trip to the LA Coliseum would be most interesting! I'll put it on my 'Bucket List'! Smile

Sj, I do hope you are doing better and getting stronger every day! Will light candles for you and others now!

NNSTDLBBBYA!!! Cool Cloud 9 hug  hug Left thumb up Whistling sleepy Good night

P.S. I won't be here in the morning- meetings! :dunno:

Good morning Nesters

I've been spending a lot of time watching and recording the Delta 2 nest since Monday. One of the eaglets (Goldwing) has not been well and the speculation is that it might have swallowed a bone that has become lodged in it's crop Oh My Judy/jkr has been in contact with Bev Day at O.W.L. and she is hoping if it is a bone that it will eventually be digested and the eaglet can get rid of it. It seemed a lot more active yesterday but has not been very active today. I don't think there has been much food brought into the nest the past couple of days Sad Sure hope GW will be OK

Debs glad to hear your bout of sickness wasn't food poisoning :thumrht: However, suffering with an intestinal bug isn't nice at all. Hope you'll be 100% soon hug Thanks for your kind words about my photos hug Hope all goes well with your 'sour gas' course tomorrow :thumrht:

Bev thanks for the link to the RT hawk 'fledge'. I watched it and I have no doubt that the wind caught the hawklet's outstretched wings and carried it up, up and away Oh My I don't know if it was ready to fledge but I certainly hope it didn't crash land in a nearby tree or on the pavement below fingers crossed

John are you getting out to visit the eagles you photographed a few weeks ago? I've been wondering if that nest in Courtenay ever got a cam installed in the tree :dunno: I am hoping to take a drive there sometime this summer

JudyH glad to see Mom dove finally let you see her babies; they are very cute Wub Hope you had fun with the dog training session and your house a sparkling clean

jwnix thanks for the link to the caterpillar photo on Flikr. I was looking on Wikipedia last night but there are so many different kinds of caterpillars I couldn't tell which are the ones we have here Roll eyes

Lonette sorry you lost your post; it's so maddening when that happens Mad Yikes, your root canal sounds scary but you must be so relieved that it is over with hug

Here are a few more pics from our air-boat excursion in Florida.
