Morning Nesters.....

I got home late last night and brought a lovely flu bug with me....I was so sick during the night raging high fever, headache and hubby actually stayed home today to keep a watchful eye over me....what a sweetie hey.

Anyway just poppin to share the update on SJ Judy then heading back to bed Faint

Update on SJ Judy

I spoke to Judy last night on my way back from the city.

Judy is still in the hospital battling the infection & feeling simply quite miserable Oh the shame

Unfortunately Judy was diagnosed with MRSA again and they are trying to find the right antibiotic Don't Panic to treat this stubborn infection and in the interim they have had her on several antibiotics but have not yet found the right med yet!

Judy was really ill this weekend; retaining fluid in her legs and even had a bit of fluid developing in her lungs Cry but the swelling is starting to come down now Left thumb up and her shortness of breath has improved as well......Judy is so looking foward to "feeling better" Nodding The two pints of blood Judy had late last weekd did bring her blood values up so that is a bit of good news Very Happy.

Judy says all her furniture and belongings have now been moved to Shelley & Jim's and with two households in one place now ....its abit crowded right now Don't Panic so Judy has a special request of all of us......Judy says as much as she loves all our pampering Red Heart she would appreciate very much if we not send any more gifts or flowers as she simply does not have room for anything in her new nest Wooh but cards are always okay Clapping.

Judy misses you all ...she sends her love Wub and thanks you for all your love and support Thank You and she asks that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers hug

I will likely call Judy tonight again and will post another update if there is any news...hopefully our dear Judy has turned a corner and is on the mend fingers crossed

wave

Keeping all good friends battling cancer or disease in our thoughts and prayers oxo

Good morning Nesters

There is an article in the Peninsula News Review by Christine van Reeuwyk about Ma & Pa Sidney moving house. Christine is the reporter who attended our FledgeFest last July and interviewed a few members including our own Eagle Dude John. Christine also covered the story of Flyer's rescue last year and has embedded a video of the rescue in her recent article. Clink this link for the story and video. She's also included a picture of Eric's hummingbird nest in Victoria. Ma & Pa Sidney in Peninsula News Review

John July is going to be a busy month for me so please let me know if and when you are planning to come to Victoria; I would love to see you. Muse Bistro has been open for lunch since Mother's Day, which is their usual opening day. I had already told Jane that we probably wouldn't be having an official FF this year because the eagles had moved house and were no longer on the Epicure property but when I was there a week ago last Fri. with Vicki & Sharon, I told her there would not be a FF this year. Of course the Bistro is open for anyone who wishes to enjoy a delicious lunch and a glass of their wonderful wine anytime. Jane did tell me that if there was going to be a group wanting to go on a specific day, a reservation would be required in order for everyone to be seated together. If it isn't raining on the day you choose to go, it could be arranged that tables be reserved just outside the Bacchus room where we had our FF luncheon last year. The 2 eaglets should be quite big in early July and will be wingercizing which will be great for getting pics and videos.

John I read in one of the Campbell River newspapers or had seen it on the news on TV before I went on my vacation that the neighbours had built a platform for the eagles and they were nesting. I hope they have eaglets this season; you will have to visit the site and try to get some pics Right thumb up

Diana thanks for providing all those delicious looking goodies hug Nice to see you here and hope you and hubby are keeping well.

Debs I think I know what you might be doing today giggle Hope you are having fun Right thumb up

Bev I'm enjoying all your lovely pics of the sights around Halifax and your flowers hug

Jude thanks for all your ecards and emails with those wonderful videos and photos hug

Marg I'm enjoying your's and Sandra's reports and photos of the eagles in your area Right thumb up Hope your foot is OK now hug Your peonies are gorgeous; they are one of my favourite flowers.

JudyH how exciting that the doves have a new family for you to watch; I'll be anxious to see pics of them Clapping

Sending lots of hug and prayers to Judy/sj; I think of her every day.

I had a busy day yesterday with family so no bird or eagle watching. I hope to have a bit of time this afternoon to get out.

A couple of pics of some of the animals at the Sawgrass Reptile & Wildlife Park in Florida:

Thanks so much for keeping us updated on Judy/sj. I wish there was something I could do to help her and certainly hope they will find the right medication to get rid of the infection soon. I will continue to send good wishes, say prayers and light candles for her and her family hug

OH no Debs.... how dare that bug follow you home. Bad bad bug. Your hubby is a sweetheart to stay home with you. Hugs to him. So, after you are over this nasty bug, you are gonna feel brand, spanking new... for sure. After what you have been going through... you will feel on top of the world, er, I mean North Pole...Rolling on floor laughing
Thanks for keeping us updated on SJ Judy. I am sure she tried to make you feel better at the same time you were trying to make her feel better, when you spoke with her on your way back from the city last night.

SJ Judy... sending more Light and Love to you...

Sassy...WOW... love the pic of Pokey (such an appropriate name)...Looks like a very large tortoise. I wonder how old he is? And Cracker Jack....he looks like he has been around the block too. Tried to get another picture again today, but mom just won't leave... She is sticking close with this clutch.

John... Memorial Day... we spent the morning with three of the grandkids... playing frisbee, drawing pictures of Papa and Nana and playing Twister... I am all twisted up... LOL

Now we are just relaxing this afternoon... Hubby mowing lawn and watching the Braves Game (they lost Sad , and me... well, just being entertained by all my favorite eagle nests, doing some gardening... and trying to battle my bladder infection.. Is that too much info for you? LOL I am treating it with fresh pressed cranberry juice (yuk - but it works) and some herbal tinctures...

I hope you all are having one splendid day...

Judy Lynn

Oh yea... Here is a pic from The Wall ie. Pink Floyd... way before concert time. We like to get there early...
