I hope everyone had a really nice Momma's Day yesterday.
I had a great day with my hubby and dogs. We started the day out with a walk around the golf course. Heleena is in heat, so she marked well over 10 times during the hour... and also saw a gazillion rabbits that she so wanted to chase. We had a really nice late breakfast at one of our favorite "outside" restaurants. Heleena always draws lots of attention we take her. The rest of the day was just ... lovely.
We have decided to buy a new vehicle... We are thinking about a Toyota Sequoia... upgrading from my 4runner. We may be breeding Heleena (not this cycle)and keeping a male... need a bigger vehicle for that... Good reason to do that... LOL
Debs... I do so hope you are feeling better... You are so missed.
Bev... Thanks for keeping things rolling all around the forum... as you always do. Where is that lighthouse... So gorgeous with the clouds and ocean...
Jwinx... Those red tails are so cute... but it sure gives me butterflies looking at the edge off that very small nest. I know what you mean about leaving plants for extended time... I would be so worried that they would be toast. I have misters on timers in and out of the greenhouse for just that... however... then I get concerned.. oh no... what if the battery dies, or a hose connector breaks off etc. LOL It has happened only when I was home..l thank goodness.
Judy sj... Sending you Light and Love.
Marg... So glad your foot feels better. What did the CT reveal? Did the doctor give you something to help with the pain? Thank you. So glad you love my flowers and doves. I will keep you all posted when I see hatchlings.
John...Did you spoil your wife on Momma's Day?
Kay... Welcome back from your 26 days of being totally spoiled. I can't wait for you to share some of your pictures. I saw that you had met up with JudyB and Bev. How very special... After getting to know someone on the forum and then getting to meet them in person must have been so exciting. I one day hope to meet some of you all in person too...
Elle... HI... How exciting that Ma Sidney has done the 3 chicklet clutch again. Hugs to Ma and Pa Sidney... I sure miss the cam... like all of us.,
Have a great day.

I did watch one of the RT chicks seeming to walk gingerly along the edge of that nest, and guessed it had been "taught" what to do.....however it was much closer to the edge than THIS MOM thought was reasonable!!! ;-)
---interesting how much the coloring changed in those chicks overnight!!!
---I do have real issues with leaving my water turned on with timers attached....cannot stand the idea of it breaking somehow and wasting thousands of gallons of water ( and BTW Paying FOR all that wasted water).....
---Elle, more lovely pictures.....many thanks!!!
