Do you all remember the dove family that had a nest on my patio and they both cherished around fledge time (around Easter)? Well... I believe that same pair is now nesting on my fence concealed behind a wisteria vine. They did not return to the nest on the patio... I have to admit... after a week in a half passed, I removed the nest as it became apparent that they were not going to nest too soon... and I didn't want them to nest again there as it just seemed too dangerous for the babies..... (falling on the bricks during wingersizing)... I watched the pair build the new nest and within a day of the new construction... Mom has been seen incubating... It is a two week incubation... so we will see chicks in about 8 ish days or so.

Here is a picture of sweet Momma... who is getting so used to my presence. Wub

Here is a picture for you of my blue Rhododendron(the kind that looks like an azalea) that's in full bloom right now. It's so big now(at least 30 years old) and I had to take it from the neighbour's yard.Oh My

that is stunning and enormous!!! positively gorgeous picture, and the garbage can in front is great for size perspective!!!! years ago I planted azaleas along a chain link fence with the hope they would make a pretty green fence, like your tall bush!!! they have never grown taller than ~4' but I am thinking that now the neighbor removed an enormous oak over them , they may have growth spurts since they no longer have to compete with the tree for water!!!
now I wish I could trade them in for that lovely purple!!!!
thanks for the photo!!!
