Hi Nesties…

This may be my last perch here for a while. One more sleep until I leave for my family vacation. I will be taking my laptop with me, so I can keep up with my favorite nests. Speaking of which.. PH is on hatch watch right now… The Richmond (I do most of the reporting there for Hancock) cam has been down since last Friday early morning… I am going through horrible withdrawals… It is being repaired… Here are two sweet scaps of April 1, the day before the main cam went down ..The 2nd (backup) cam came on but was disconnected last Friday while they fix the Main cam… I am sure you didn't need all those details… LOL

Bev… Okay, I keep hearing about Agnes… Is she your mom and you happen to call her Agnes? Or maybe an aunt… The kitty is cutie… Can I have her??? The right situation will come through for the little angel… although you would have been the perfect situation… but can't have grandson sneezing away.. Momma Robin is so pretty and alert in your cute picture.

Go-o-o-o-o-o-d Morning, Nester Buds!!!

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I am back.


It has been a while and I apologize. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It sounds like several of you had wonderful times with your families and I think that is so awesome. Lots of grandkid hugs, eh?

Bev - if no one claims that baby kitty, count me in!!!! Sooo sweet. I bet that baby's Mama and Papa are worried. How wonderful that the baby found someone as sweet as you to stay with until the parents show up.

SJ and Steve - I'm still stormin' Heaven each day for you and am hoping that you are both feeling better. Big to both of you!!

JudyH - So sorry to hear about your baby doves. Nature has sure been hard on so many of our feathered friends' nests this year. I know nature knows best but sometimes it is just darned hard.

Kay - How many sleeps until your cruise? I have to say I'm a bit but am so happy for you that you can enjoy a wonderful time! Can't wait to hear all about it.

ED - I hope all is well with you and yours and that the Wiz is treating you well. I heard that he is hiding behind a curtain. Perhaps we should check it out.

Debs - Did you just have the bestest time ever with your family? I sure hope you and Darryl had a great time! Those pictures of the snow on the road. You are much braver than I. I would have probably had to start a fire, grab a hot toddy, and wait for the thaw. Or, is there ever a thaw in the great North country?

LInda - so very nice to see you on your perch!!!! Love the bunny!!

Diana - Love stopping by to nibble on the goodies that you freshly bake for us. Yummers!!! I hope that you have some well deserved time off soon.

Carolyn - Love having you perched here. I have to go check on the Princess in a few minutes to see how she is getting along in the hack tower. Bless her little heart!!! She is so beautiful.

If I have missed anyone -

Today is the day we should get the PET scan results for Mom. I have to admit I'm scared. I talked to my Dad this morning, and heard his voice crack as he said he was hoping for good news. Bless his heart. Man, I wanted to be there to give him a hug and tell him all is going to be all right no matter what. I told him that we had always gotten through things together and if the news wasn't what we wanted to hear, we would be OK. Then I cried (after I hung up of course).

But and stormin' Heaven that Mom is just fine!!!!

OK - here comes the magical sleigh, 'cause we all know what time it is!!! IT'S TIMMIES TIME!!!! Roadie is tagging along to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be and then will stop by the hospital to see Steve and SJ. LOOK OUT NURSES - ROADIE IS IN THE BUILDING!!!!

Hi Lonette and for sending Roadie and the team with Tims beverages and goodies! But, did I miss the latest on Mum? The Wiz has been really busy reinventing his biz! Plus, he helped me pick up and set up a new bed since my water bed sprang a wee leak. It didn't owe me anything though as we had it for 28 years! So, rather than take a chance and patch it we tossed it into the recycling bin!

Hi Jwnix and yes, Bambi is another long time fave as well as Smokey the Bear and Flower and Gentle Ben and Flipper, Old Yeller, Big Red, and many others!

If that water bed is still in recycling, drag it back out!! You can find many uses for the vinyl liner.....I cut it to suit whatever size i needed for a bit of sturdy material. It has been surprising how much use I got from it after it was no longer a bed!! and it IS a transition to go from waterbed to regular mattress.....

Afternoon Nesters

This is my second attempt to post~~my ole computer keeps crashing on me today. So I am going to keep this short till my new one is hooked up and all ready to go...hopefully tonight .

Update on Judy and Steve

Our dear Judy has been fighting bronchitis these past few days so she has not been sleeping well as the cough keeps her up. Judy spent alot of time in bed resting over the weekend and Judy hopes to be well enough to have her chemo on Friday talons crossed yep yep yep.

Both Judy & Shelley are at the hospital right now visiting Steve .

Unfortunately, Steve's condition has deteriorated over these past couple of weeks and he is totally confined to bed now . They started him on oxygen therapy, which seems to help abit.

Judy misses everyone here and thanks you all for your love and support it means the world to both her and Steve and they ask that we continue with our "stormin" as it really does help
