Hi Nesters Buds,

Thank you for checking on us out here in Texas. That type of storm can really get one’s attention! Wow! Picking up flat bed trucks and tossing them like toy cars was the first thing we saw and on CNN. Storm warnings continued until late last night and waves of smaller storms possible tornadoes, flash lightning were coming through our neck of the woods well past midnight.

I have a great respect for Mother Nature having lived in Houston and Galveston for a number of years. Just no place to run for shelter in a situation like the one yesterday. I was ready, three bags packed. What a group of friends we have in the Nest! Big Hugs for your support!

Judy and Steve, thinking of you both! Candles going for you, along with lots of love and prayers! Hoping nausea will soon pass, Judy! Miss you so much, you are our inspiration, our hero, and symbolize what courage is all about, my friend.

Carolyn, the Woodlands has certainly changed and grown. Years ago, the development was beautiful. The only downside was commuting to Houston. Great to hear all the facilities, shopping, etc are right at your finger tips now and oh, my the walking trails!

Now here come the doggies our wuvable wascal roadie carrying his wee blankee and suitcase perched on top of our magical sleigh mushing mushing over the top .... then eastern bound with first stop Saint John with special deliveries for Judy & Steve then mushing mushing onward to all Nester Ports

As always our magical sleigh is bursting at the seams with pipin hot tims and all of our favorite treats so time to kick back Nester Buds and enjoy your morning jolt and sunshine definitely guaranteed to bump start your Hump Day yep yep yep.

Debs… I love being perched here... chirping instead of lurking. Birds a plentiful on my property alright. But with lots of little birds around…lots of big prey birds frequent. Love them both... And it is mama nature. The resident Cooper’s Hawk who I see daily, flew through my back yard yesterday with a bird in it’s talons. Fascinating and disturbing all in one. How is your new computer working out ? I hope it is everything that you wanted . Ace… very kewl name for a dog..what kind of dog is Ace?… You must be so thrilled to be seeing little Nixen this weekend, especially after his recent ordeal... So glad he is better. Glad you enjoyed my little/big man and puppers picture... spoiled.. you betcha...and Kameron is now off leash and trained well... LOL

John…Arent’ those baby doves just the cutest? Mom is feeding them right now as I type. I look out my glass slider window from my desk and can see the nest… as it is right on my patio. I will send a pic of mom on the nest with chicks at the end of this post.

Lonette… I was wondering… do you get to find out the results of the PET Scan right after, or do you have to wait ? It must be such a relief to you… as well as your mom… that she is doing great right now.

Update from Judy

Judy has her post chemo blood work drawn this morning her PICC line checked and after that she is heading to the hospital to visit Steve. Steve was pretty tired yesterday he slept alot but Judy said they enjoyed just being together and again Steve used every opportunity to brighten Judy's day with his quick wit and charm. Both continue to work thru the nausea and fatigue...I told Judy geeze do they have to insist on doing everything together .
